Back to Bath - part 2

So, once the candle lady had been collected, it was time to concentrate on getting some new pieces finished in time for today's Vintage & Antique market in Bath: seedlings, how to wire a plug (no. 2) and a selection of post on a very old piece of white linen taken from an antique nightgown. (I wouldn't normally cut such a thing up, but this was really in a bad way so I didn't feel too guilty.)

It was a good day at the market, a bit quieter than last time, but I met some lovely people on the other stalls and generated some funds for this weeks mission - New School Shoes (for eldest and middle daughters).

(Not making the same mistake as last summer and leaving it until the last week of the school holidays when a certain shoe shop becomes a living hell full of desperate parents clutching their numbered ticket and glowering at any other fool who might try and speak to one of the shop assistants. Oh lord, I'm starting to dread it already.)
