Looking for a good book?

Have just finished reading my Christmas books - I enjoyed them both so much that I'm now left with that slightly disappointed feeling that you get when you go to bed, keen to pick up your book, and then remember that you've finished it. Anyway, I thought I'd post them up here, just in case anyone is looking for recommendations for a good read!

This is the first:

Yep - it was a book before it was a film. And although it's a great film (have I mentioned my long-standing passion for Mr Depp?) it's a much better book.

And this is the second:

Don't be put off by the title - it isn't a self-help book, just a well written, and very funny piece of fiction set in modern-day LA. You can find some more blurb here.
